Dogecoin plunges during Elon Musk's 'SNL' gig | Fox Business

Some people don’t like change, but you need to embrace change if the alternative is disaster.”   —   Elon Musk

(I remember a reader, from a few years back, who said that he was not a fan of Elon Musk’s because of how he sometimes acted and spoke.  I think that Elon may have spoken at the university where the reader worked at, and it left him a little cold.  I wonder if – now that Elon has revealed he has Asperger’s Syndrome – that reader has softened his opinion of him?   I just watched the SNL opening monologue that Musk did last Saturday, and I thought it was great.  But, apparently, not everyone did!  A story on MarketWatch criticizes him for using the term Asperger’s, and NOT mentioning that it’s on the the Autism Spectrum.  I think that anybody with half a brain realizes that Asperger’s IS on the autism spectrum, and that that spectrum is pretty wide.  But they didn’t really say what the preferred – politically “correct” – terminology is!  It did go on to say that another man was diagnosed with “the autism-spectrum-disorder condition commonly known as Asperger syndrome”, but that’s not exactly catchy.  That’s like “the artist formerly known as Prince” . . . on steroids!  Then the article goes on to PRAISE Greta Thunberg for calling her Asperger’s diagnosis her superpower!?!?  There’s either a double standard going on here, or I guess poor old Elon just can’t please some people.  Maybe they’re short selling Tesla!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Clue/Question:  When the Mars colony opened its first restaurant, customers really liked its – – –

Pre-Answer:  Two Words   (4-letters)  (10-letters)

Answer:  GOOD ATMOSPHERE

(Just stay away from the potato salad!  This was a very ambitious Jumble.  Maybe not as ambitious as sending a red Tesla roadster on a Falcon Heavy rocket, complete with an astronaut mannequin in the front seat, playing David Bowie’s “Life on Mars?”, off towards the planet Mars, but still ambitious.

All of today’s clue words are old favorites.  Yet, all of the jumbles came up as new.  It took me a few looks to come up with “degree”.  I was seeing dredge and edger, before the right word came to me.  The other clue words I saw right away.  The answer letter layout was a dandy of a jumble.  Definitely not obvious.  The maître d’ asking for the climate helmet, and the lady liking “the vibe” were the big giveaways to the ten-letter word.  ODOG gave me GOOD.  Jeff’s drawing was both impressive and amusing.  The guy with the pilsner glass looks like George Jetson, but the lady with the champagne flute doe not look like Jane, to me.   If Jane finds out, George might be sleeping with Astro when he gets home.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I think that’s the single best piece of advice:  constantly think about how you could be doing things better and questioning yourself.”   —   Elon Musk

(I agree more with the thinking about how to do things better, than the questioning yourself.  A certain amount of introspection is wise, but too much can lead to self-doubt and inertia. Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor.”   —   Elon Musk

(Our first Elon Musk quote!  Possibly the greatest entrepreneur of all time.  And, this guy is still just 44 years old.  It’s remarkable what he has accomplished so far, and what he is on the cusp of accomplishing.  He’s a bit of a gambler, but a very calculating and knowledgeable gambler.  His gambles are not so much in will it work.  His gambles are more in going up against the entrenched systems, that have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.  He’s a man of great vision, who places a higher emphasis on progress over mere profit.  I don’t know if I believe in “fate”, but he seems to have come along at just the right time in human history.  If he had been born, and started out, 10 – 15 years earlier he might not be where he is today.  He was tailor-made for this internet era, and he is doing so much to change the world, for the better.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
