Clue/Question: The interview with undersea-explorer Jacques Cousteau was – – –
Answer: IN–DEPTH
(Sort of a young Sam Donaldson or Ted Koppel type interviewer. I always enjoyed the Jacques Cousteau specials back then. Very eye opening, and educational.
All of today’s clue words, and two of today’s jumbles are old favorites. Only “pputep” and “disarh” are coming up as new. It took me a few looks before I saw “puppet”! I thought the jumble was that good. The answer letter layout was a fine jumble as well. But, the combination of the great cartoon, and the leading nature of the clue/question made the answer fairly obvious, to me. Great likeness of the famous oceanographer. And, cute scenes out the portholes of the submarine.
Very interest, fairly short, interview with Ted Koppel below. If you’re a regular here, you’ll recognize a few of the things that yer uncle has ranted about over the years. It’s not dated, but it seems very recent. Enjoy. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
