“Hollywood grew to be the most flourishing factory of popular mythology since the Greeks.” — Alistair Cooke
(I just watched a movie last night that is now nine years old, called “Django Unchained”. It’s directed by Quentin Tarantino, so it is wildly entertaining, yet younger viewers should not buy into it as historically accurate. Similar to his World War II psuedo drama “Inglourious Basterds”. They’re both fun, cartoonish romps, full of gratuitous violence, but misleading and ridiculous at the same time. Both of these movies likely had Alistair Cooke spinning in his grave. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
