Answer:  SEMISUCCESSFUL

(Ten four, good buddy!  Breaker one nine, you got yer ears on?  Keep an eye out fer Smokey.  Heck, they may even have a bear in the air!  Mid to late ’70s CB radios were all the rage.  I think the truckers didn’t appreciate all the attention from us four-wheelers.  The fad ran its course, as they all do.

Tried and true clue words today.  Three new jumbles, with “suyfs” having already been used.  The answer letter layout had me stumped for a few minutes.  I tried to go with SELF-, but I couldn’t see what to do with CCUSSSIMUE.  But, there was enough there for me to make out SUCCESS.  And then the bells went off.

Great cartoon!  I bet Jeff is a fan of the eighteen-wheelers.  I like the old gag on the sign in the background:  EAT FOOD  GET GAS.  Lots of fun.  Happy Passover and Happy Easter to all of those who celebrate the holidays.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
