Visual Description:  A Greek technique to make them shriek!

CNPIH  =  PINCH,  TAFIH  =  FAITH,  PRETEN  =  REPENT,  CISOLA  =  SOCIAL   —   Giving us:  PNHFAHENTSIAL

Clue/Question:  Flaming Greek cheese has long been popular and wasn’t just a – – –

Answer:  FLASH IN THE PAN

(But, a flash in the pan it is.  Ah, it’s just theatrics.  Like the French with their Cherries Jubilee and Crêpes Suzette, or whoever came up with Bananas Foster, and Baked Alaska.  A bit of a show, like those Japanese Steakhouses, or even the Mexican restaurants where they make the guacamole at your table.  It’s fun.

None of today’s clue words are new.  Two of the jumbles appear to be, with both “tafih” and “cisola” having definitely been used before.  The only one to give me pause was “preten”.  But, I said three Hail Marys and one Our Father . . . and it suddenly came to me!  Yeah, right!  The answer letter layout was an impressive thirteen letter jumble.  But, because of the layout of the final answer word slots, and the fantastic cartoon, the answer came to me . . . in a flash!

Looks like some fine faux Ionic columns, and a classic looking Greek waiter.  I’ve never even heard of “saganaki” before.  Looks like WordPress hasn’t either!  I guess I’ve never really had Greek food before.  Other than feta cheese!  I have seen “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” though!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
