“Laws should be like clothes. They should be made to fit the people they serve.” — Clarence Darrow
(The operative word being people. Corporate Personhood has gotten way out of hand in the United States. To the point where “their” rights supersede our rights. No one, other than a handful of anarchists, are out to abolish corporations. Obviously, they play a vital role in terms of our economy and employment. But, it has come to the point where they are setting – self-serving – policies, to the detriment of a very large segment of our citizenry. Our Congresspeople rarely meet with John Q. Public these days, but if you are a corporate lobbyist the door is almost always open. If we do not do something to turn this situation around, and I mean soon and fast, the will of the people will soon meet the fate of the Dodo and the Passenger Pigeon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
