(Dig it.  Looks like they’re going to have to walk to the next station.  Unless the entire line is down, then they’ll have to go to a different line, or catch a bus.  Commuting can be a big hassle for city dwellers.  Fun pun.  Better smelling than some subway stations, no doubt.

All of today’s clue words are old favorites.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with only “avewe” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was a challenging eleven letter jumble.  I figured UNDER right off the bat, but had to write out AEPRIR to see REPAIR.

Fine urban themed cartoon.  The “workers” look more like students, with those backpacks on.  But, what do I know?  I haven’t ridden the subway in a number of years.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
