Belated Jumble Spoiler – 09/04/21

Clue/Question:  For mom, having a baby involves a lot of – – –

Answer:  PHYSICAL LABOR

(Let’s be real here, folks.  It may take two to Tango, but delivering a baby is all on the mom!  Dad just stands around, trying to get mom to say:  Hee, hee, hee, hoo over and over again.  It does help some, but it pretty much relegates the dad to simply a cheerleader.  Mom does ALL the work.

All familiar old clue words.  Two of the jumbles are coming up as new, but we’ve seen both “lisaa” and “leohl” in earlier Jumbles.  No real head scratchers here.  The answer letter layout was a terrific thirteen letter jumble.  I thought that it was wonderfully cryptic.  I figured right away that the five letter word was LABOR, and PHYSICAL immediately followed.

Great cartoon of the LDR – Labor, Delivery, and Recovery – room.  The husband has to be careful of his wife’s grip throughout all of this.  During this intense period of time, his petite bride can exhibit the strength of The Hulk!  And, try not to be glib, Dad!  Mom is not in a joking mood.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
