Jumble Spoiler – 12/06/21

Visual Description: Assurances.
SAYET = YEAST, RPWEI = WIPER, NDYEOK = DONKEY, MRISEM = SIMMER — Giving us: YASWRDOKMMR
Clue/Question: Mr. Twain predicted his latest story would become popular by saying – – –

Answer: MARK MY WORDS
(Well, I guess you couldn’t really Samuel his words. Now, could you? By some strange coincidence(?) today just happens to be the 132nd anniversary of when “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” was first published, way back in 1889! Very good timing, guys.
All of today’s clue words have been on the ralis95 clue word database for quite some time. Three of the jumbles have also been used in past Jumbles, with only “rpwei” being new. They all came to me very quickly. The answer letter layout was an enchanted eleven letter jumble. I thought there was nothing obvious about it. I just picked up on the “guarantee”, and the calling him MR. Twain.
Great cartoon of Mark Twain, and I guess his publisher. I love that he’s smoking a cigar. For a while, Mark Twain lived in Elmira, NY, but he left New York, and I believe he was living in Hartford Connecticut when he wrote this book. I guess that’s why it’s a Connecticut Yankee! Great Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
