Sunday Cryptoquote Spoiler – 07/29/18

Why does a woman work to change a man’s habits and then complain he’s not the man she married?”   —   Barbra Streisand

(Irony?  Paradox?  Some women just relish in the exercise in futility.  I guess the lesson is to not marry someone who you think you need to improve.  A little ironic that the Sunday Jumble and the Sunday Cryptoquote both deal with marriage.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

There’s a part of you that always remains a child, no matter how mature you get, how sophisticated or weary.”   —   Barbra  Streisand

(Embrace that part.  That’s the part of us that keeps us human.  That’s the part that can’t be programmed in to a Watson, or any other computer entity.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I don’t care what you say about me.  Just be sure to spell my name wrong.”   —   Barbra Streisand

(Because spelling her name “wrong” is right . . . for her!  Most people spell it Barbara, but not her.  From what I can tell, it’s a Jewish thing. Very funny, though!  Nice twist on the original.  And, not as easy to solve as you might think, with having the apostrophe!  It’s always great to see people who have a good sense of humor.  Right?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
