Answer: DOLLHER STORE

(And, I’m not just talking about kids, folks!  The corporate media continuously feeds us what it wants us to buy, what it wants us to know, and what it wants us to believe.  Why do you think that SUVs are so popular?  They’re gas hogs, that block the view of the road for sedans and coupes, but they sell them to us as being sturdier and safer.  Forget the fact that they’re more liable to roll over than a regular car, or that the notion that they’re “safer” makes many of their drivers drive more recklessly.  And, how about light – aka Lite – beer?  Seven of the top ten best selling domestic beers are light beers!  Do they taste as good as regular – real – beer?  Hell No!  Well, maybe . . . if you don’t really like the taste of beer.  And, bottled water?  Outside of a few bottled “sparkling” waters, we all used to be happy as clams drinking water from our municipally owned sources.  But, now they’ve commercialized water.  Most municipalities no longer control their own water.  Multi-national corporations control our water these days.  They tell us that bottled water tastes better, and that it’s safer than tap water, while much of the bottled water comes from the taps!  They just filter it more and add certain minerals.  But, we’re all good, obedient consumers!  They tell us what’s good for, and for far too many of us . . . that’s good enough!

Jumble???  Oh, yeah!  Real stinky pun!  There were no new clue words, today.  Stand down, ralis95!  However, all of today’s jumbles came up as new.  I thought they were all great, and well thought out.  The answer letter layout was a beautiful jumble, too.  The cartoon is great, again.  Those poor parents!  They might prevail, in getting their daughter to accept Bargain Betty, but she is not going to be happy about it.  Oh, well.  That’s life in the corporatized 21st Century!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
