“You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward.” — Amelia Earhart
(It definitely sounds like Amelia had some very positive influences when she was growing up. Ones that taught her the concepts of self-confidence, and of the risk to reward ratio. It’s tougher growing up always hearing: “Better safe than sorry!”, and other tales of caution. Live well and do good, friends!) — YUR

“You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure. The process is its own reward.” — Amelia Earhart
(I know some of you may have noticed that I changed the comma after “procedure” to a period, and then made the second part of the quote a separate sentence. The comma felt awkward to me, and when I looked the quote up online I saw it both ways, so I figured others must see it my way. Who thinks it should be the awkward, run-on sentence, with the comma, and why??? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” — Amelia Earhart
(Amelia never had to tackle my email! Nor, my snail mail, for that matter. I’m totally overwhelmed. I periodically take a whack at both, so the decision is there. But, I only seem to get just so far, and then the next day just brings more. Talk about your information overload! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
