To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries.”   —   Aldous Huxley

(The photo above is of the only Aldous I have ever met!  He’s a very nice guy.  He’s married to my wife’s ex-husband’s sister.  How many of you guys know an Aldous?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

English: This is Huxley, a Jack Russell terrie...

English: This is Huxley, a Jack Russell terrier. She is probably half Parson Russell terrier as she has long legs (13.5″ at the shoulder). Huxley is named after Aldous Huxley. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

The secret of genius is to carry the spirit of the child into old age, which means never losing your enthusiasm.”   —   Aldous Huxley

(I’m trying, friends!  I’m not OLD old, yet.  But, I’m staying in shape, listening to new music that I actually like, and just being the silly ass that I’ve been all my life.  You need to keep that youthful verve, if you don’t want to swerve into mental retirement.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  The dog is cuter than Aldous.   —   YUR

(Well . . . yeah.  Sure.  Everybody knows that.  Actually, this might be the most appropriate Cryptoquote ever!  You really couldn’t take much of anything for granted in solving this one.  No single letter words, and only one two letter word.  Only two words ended with an E.  No double letters to play around with.  And, the only punctuation was a single period.  Even the author’s name wasn’t much help.  Albert, Alfred and Althea were not working out.  I know the author, but Aldous wasn’t even on my radar, until other things fell into place.  I almost threw in the towel on this one.  Great way to close out the work week!  Don’t take anything, or anyone, for granted, friends.  Life is too short.  Too precious and fragile.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
