(Aww! How can anyone call a cute Jumble like this a stinky pun? It’s got Bambi, Bambi’s mom, Thumper . . . and Sqiggles the squirrel. Okay, I made that last one up. It’s got a nice ring to it though. I’m a little surprised that Jeff couldn’t have worked in a groundhog! In case you haven’t heard, both Punxsatawney Phil and Staten Island Chuck did NOT see their shadows this morning! And, you know what that means! Nothing really. “Spring is right around the corner”??? How friggin’ vague is that?!! It can mean any time less than six weeks. It’s really just a silly superstitious “tradition”, and you know folks love their traditions!
None of today’s clue words came up as new. No need to bother our old pal, ralis95. Two of the jumbles appear to be new though, with both “sumsie” and “letwah” having definitely been used before. The answer letter layout was a very impressive 12-letter jumble. I thought it disguised the answer very nicely. I think the leading nature of the clue/question, along with cartoon’s dialog, made getting the answer almost instinctive.
