Jumble Spoiler – 09/12/20 (Of Course)

US Arms Flag] originated at the University of California, Berkeley, circa 1971. An upside down flag is a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger. : PropagandaPostersNot really, folks.  But, since nobody really seems to care anyway, I’m just going to rant and rave the inconvenient Truth to you.  The Official Narrative of 9/11/2001 was, and still is, largely an orchestrated LIE, designed to chiefly accomplish two things.

  1.  Put the United States on a perpetual/never ending war footing.  and
  2.  Disrupt much of the Arab/Islamic world, primarily for the benefit of the state of Israel.

It was THE most implausible chain of events that has ever happened in the history of the world.  But, instead of wondering, and then INVESTIGATING, the who and hows of such monumentally catastrophic events happening, to THE most powerful, technologically advanced nation in the world, we were immediately fed a ridiculous string of fairy-tale like lies.  And, because the country – and most of the world – was in a complete state of shock, sadness and anger . . . we (the vast majority of us at least) were all too eager/gullible to believe what those in – what should be – trusted positions of authority were all too eager – and READY – to tell us.

Why bother investigating any of it, when they got so many of us to believe this amazing story?  Of course it was 19 Arabic men with box cutters who hijacked the planes.  Of course they had knowledge of all the military exercises – that only the military would know of – that were happening that day.  And, of course 4 of these loathsome 19, who could barely fly a four-seat, single-engine, high wing, fixed-wing, propeller aircraft were able to masterfully fly large, sophisticated, commercial jet airliners into both of the World Trade Towers, and also into the 5 story Pentagon, which was very likely THE most secure/protected building, in THE most secure/protected city, in the entire world.  And, of course both Trade Towers collapsed, in under two hours, one in 1 hour 42 minutes and the other in just 56 minutes, “due to the heat of the jet fuel” – which burns at a max of 1500°F – melting the the steel support beams, which would have required temperatures of 2750°F to do so.  And, of course neither of the towers toppled over, but they both came straight down, in their own footprints.  And then, at 5:20PM of that fateful day, of course the World Trade Center 7 building, which had NOT been hit by a jet, but had sustained some damage, due to the North Tower’s collapse, at 10:28AM, came down in its own footprint, allegedly because of internal fires.  So, despite the fact that NO skyscraper – in the history of skyscrapers – had EVER collapsed before – or since – due to fires, including fires that have burned for days . . . of course three of them did that terrible day.

Oh, but our government wouldn’t have been complicit in the deaths of nearly 3000 people, most of them American citizens!  Really?  With the kind of money and power involved with our military industrial complex, and the destabilization of these oil producing countries???  It’s been said that the U.S. could have saved 36,000 lives if social distancing had been implemented one week earlier, in this battle to contain COVID-19.  How many more lives, had President Trump not publicly downplayed the disease’s severity back in January and February?  I really don’t like apples and oranges types of comparisons, but I think that this demonstrates that the lives of everyday people is NOT the #1 priority of our government.

If you made it this far, friends, you can all go back to your idyllic dreamlike existences, where the U.S. is that bright and shiny city on a hill, and the bastion of both racial equality, and equal justice for all.  “They hate us for our freedoms.”  Really?   —   YUR

A *Dedicated* Imitation!

Image result for flying American flag

As Charles Caleb Colton once famously said:  “Imitation is the sincerest [form] of flattery”.  So, I guess I should be flattered that someone has created a blog, powered by WordPress no less, with the web address of:  JumbleAnswers .com.

It’s a little hard to determine how long it has been around, but the posts do bear a striking resemblance to my Jumble Spoilers.  Maybe, it is written by someone who once frequented unclerave.wordpress.com, but objected to my politics, or sense of humor, or something.  The commentary portion, especially, reads very much like mine.  She – because it looks like it might be written by someone named Angela – even makes references to Hoyt and Knurek.  I’m not sure if they endorse the blog, or not.  In the few posts that I read I did not see them commenting . . . but who knows.

The – quasi-official looking – blog states that it has 800 something “Followers”, but each one of its posts has either zero, or 1 or 2 – at most, that I could see – “Likes”.  I can understand this, as a good number of the “Followers” may not be on WordPress themselves, but each post seems to have a surprising number of comments.  After reading a number of the comments though, I got the strange feeling that the blog’s creator is just having a conversation with them self!  It looks a little too much like a controlled call and response, to me.  Maybe it’s just me.  Maybe I’m just jealous???  LOL!

Anyway, it is out there, friends.  So, give it a look, and give me your impression of it.  If nothing else, let it be noted that Yer Uncle doesn’t mind a little competition!  Although, I’m a little surprised that they are getting away with the name!  Hmm.

Be well and do good, friends.  Have a safe and happy 4th of July!

Apologies to Al Hoffman and Murthy

. . . and, to almost anyone else who suddenly comments on a non-current post.  You may very well be someone with the best intentions, and are just a little late to the show.  But, the cautious and suspicious side of me views your comments as possible spam, that is smart enough to get around the WordPress spam guard software.

I certainly do not want to discourage those who are new to this blog, but if you want to introduce yourself to our little community I would much prefer that you comment on a post that is recent, and not one that is months old.  I will always make allowances for known/regular posters.  But generally speaking, even our regular posters like to keep things relatively current.

No disrespect to the honest latecomers, but I do need to consider the safety of the blog, as a primary concern.

Regards,

Your Uncle Rave

Answer:  PAY RESPECT

(Beautiful sentiments.  I was quite surprised to see that “boxer” was NOT in the ralis95 clue word database!  Boxcar and boxing are , but not “boxer”.  Ralis95 has a little updating to do!  The clue word “empty” spells out in alphabetical order, and we’ve seen “costek” before.  The answer letter layout was a delightful jumble.  Nothing obvious there.  The cartoon was very appropriately solemn.  An earnest portrayal of Arlington National Cemetery.  Note the Lincoln and Washington Memorials in the distance.  Be well, dear friends.  Our young soldier is doing good.)   —   YUR

Last night, on The Late Show with David Letterman, our buddy Dave tried to float a quirky little conceptual joke that the audience just wasn’t having.  It obviously cracked him up, and he really hoped that the audience would warm up to it by repeating it.  Similar to his Oscar hosting joke on the silliness of Uma Thurman and Oprah Winfrey‘s names.  If you remember, he did it like he was introducing the two to each other.

“Uma . . . Oprah”  then  “Oprah . . . Uma”.  I actually thought it was brilliant, but the nimrods thought that he was trying to be cruel . . . or something.  Small minds!

Anyhow, last night’s lead zeppelin went like this: (paraphrasing)  I ran into a woman, who has worked for the show for years, and I said Hello, JAYNE.  Never realizing that she was actually JANE.  (Both times spelling the names out)  All this time I’d been calling her JAYNE, when her name is actually JANE.  Paul Shaffer didn’t even pick up on it, initially.  But, he tried his best to play along with Dave, when he saw where he was trying to go with it.  Dave tried/hoped that the audience would like it better the second and third time, but all you heard were crickets and some sporadic nervous tittering.

Now, for the coinky-dink aspect of it!  Just yesterday, in my Cryptoquote spoiler commentary, I brought up the subject of Jayne Mansfield.  But when I first wrote it I wrote it JANE Mansfield!  Spell check didn’t flag it.  Why would it?  But when I went to Google some info on her it kept asking me: Do you mean JAYNE Mansfield?  And, all this time I’d been calling her JANE Mansfield!

😉

PS.  Last Saturday, we were watching Pulp fiction on CineMax.  Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) confuses the Jayne Mansfield lookalike for a second Marilyn Monroe lookalike, until Vicent (John Travolta) sets her straight.
