According to WordPress, today marks 15 years that I have been a blogger! It was never intended to be dedicated to the Jumble and the Cryptoquote, but it just kind of turned out that way. I’ve made many friends along the way, and a few who probably see me more as an enemy – for whatever reason – as I continue to do my own thing. Thanks to all who either enjoy, or simply tolerate, all my observations, rants and diatribes. I always try to be a straight shooter, and you can always rely on me to be my genuine – unautomated – self! As always, be well and do good, friends! — YUR

Congratulations 🎉
Woo hoo! Congratulations Unc! Thanks for tolerating my foolishness. We all mean no harm.
Appreciate the dedication! And for editing my bad words! 😝. Have a fun vacation.

Happy Anniversary! Always enjoy your comments.

Congratulations UR! What an amazing accomplishment! Curious, you mentioned that you never started out to be dedicated to just the Jumble and Cryptoquote- what were the subjects of your early blogs? Here’s to 15 more years of your special blogs, you would definitively be missed if you didn’t pop in every day. Thank you for all the solutions and info ( I especially love all the retro references, and also all-things-dogs whenever canines come up!) … Cheers!

Your blog has been an oasis for me. It’s witty, funny, and for the aficionados, absolutely essential. Even without participating in the puns and word plays, I always read it and find it very entertaining. And your commentary has a humanistic bend. I find it valuable and rare. Keep it up, Uncle Rave.
Happy Quinceañera!
How time flies when you’re having fun! Thanks, UR, for years of a forum for devoted, and perhaps eccentric, fans of Jumble and Cryp, and many more!
LOL, Wes! 😄 — YUR
Thank you, KK! — YUR

Thank you kindly, Merle! — YUR
Hey there, Schultzy! Originally, it was going to be all political and political satire. But, like with Facebook, and other social media, serious stuff doesn’t get as much attention as fluff. And, at the time at least, there were NO other sites posting these puzzle “spoilers”. In the first 10 years I was Jeff and David’s fair-haired boy. They even offered to pay for a WordPress upgrade, but I didn’t want to be obliged in any way, so I turned them down. Soon after that the competition site – for the Jumble – sprung up.
So glad for my loyal follower/readers, like you! — YUR
I take that as extremely high praise from a writer that I admire greatly, Wes! I would like to see you blogging again. If not weekly, then maybe monthly. The internet search algorithms are not particularly kind to guys like you and me, but I think it would still be worthwhile for you to share what the corporate media usually chooses to omit, or downplay. I always come away a little/a lot more knowledgeable after reading your posts. Keep the faith, brother! — Uncle Rave
Thanks for sticking with me all these years, hal. I always love hearing from you! — YUR

Quite a run UR, and all of it done out of the goodness of your heart.
