Answer:  HI NOON

(A lunchtime liaison for latent lovers???  Perhaps!  Hey, everyone needs a little companionship!  And chances are that this is a widower and a widow.  Both consenting adults, trying to make a connection.  A lunchtime date is perfect because it gives them both enough time to make their afternoon naps!  I’m sure that one, or both will order the blue-plate special.  Do restaurants still offer those???

We have most definitely seen all four of today’s clue words in previous Jumbles!  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me.  But we’ve definitely seen “nmisu” some time in the past.  No real toughies today, for me.  The answer letter layout was a slant six letter jumble.  Kinda hard disguising a two letter and four letter word answer, but it was sufficiently cryptic.  The quotation marks always help too.

Cute cartoon of the two vertical seniors, greeting each other at the restaurant.  One using a walker, and the other a tripod cane.  Hey, all things will be equal if they get horizontal!  But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.  First they have to compare photos of their grandchildren, and exchange a laundry list of their aches and pains.  The gent is more impressed with her timeliness, but she seems a little hot to trot, throwing out the “handsome” right off the bat!  It’s a ballroom dancing term, kids.  It has something to do with the Foxtrot.  LOL.  I hope the date works out for both of them.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Are they meeting for a Grindr? Looks like it’s the over 80 version. Hey, I’m not knocking it. I say go for it. As a man aged 40+ I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve taken Viagara ™️ on occasion, and I’m proud to say that it really works! 🍆 So gramps, don’t be embarrassed, take a pill. She’ll thank you later. ⏰

Speaking of the over 80 demographic, the folks over there 👉 popped 18 times y’day with only eight by their lady of the evening 🙋🏻‍♀️ (Morning actually) Pretty Woman indeed 👠 ? Smitty, you flirt… 💋

Let’s hope that jackass Alec Baldwin gets served his well- deserved murder warrant today. 🤡. It’s a tragedy that he killed that sweet woman with a gun in 2021. She was a very nice lady by all accounts. He should have never pulled the trigger with REAL bullets in the gun. Looks like a clear cut case to me. Jail time for Alec the murderer. 🎯

    Peace to all, ✌️

As a man 40 ++ I’ve yet to try/employ any of the ED meds, Smitty. Not that there’s anything wrong with them, I’ve just never felt the need for them. Maybe some day . . . with a little convincing.

I don’t watch a lot of TMZ, or read the Enquirer, so I don’t know where you’re getting your info from re Alec Baldwin. You seem to be saying that he KNEW that the pistol had live ammo in it, instead of blanks. I haven’t heard anything to that point. The only thing that I’ve heard being debated is whether he actually pulled the trigger, vs. just pulling back the hammer and it went off. Do you know, was he supposedly having an illicit affair with the woman, or something??? Did he try, but get rebuffed? Why do you think he would knowingly/intentionally shoot the cinematographer? Was he in cahoots with the armorer? Do you just have a beef with Alec Baldwin’s politics, or something? Because you’re sounding like a conspiracy theorist, Smits!

    To answer your questions….

    Yes he pulled the trigger.
No, he didn’t know the bullets were real.
No, there was no affair/romance. No beef.
He just aimed the gun, pulled the trigger and killed her.

Seems like easy second degree manslaughter, which is what he is charged with.

Right. Involuntary Manslaughter. Not Murder, Smitty. There was NO motive in “killing” her, counselor. By all accounts this was a tragic accident, as far as Alec Baldwin is concerned. The armorer, on the other hand, bears culpable responsibility in Halyna’s death. She loaded the gun, and she handed the (loaded) gun to the unsuspecting actor. I would be surprised if Alec Baldwin is actually convicted of manslaughter. But he’ll probably be convicted on some of the other charges.
