(A fine stinky pun! It seems to me that we’ve had something similar to this answer in the past, but all I remember is that it used the word BEAR in the same way. But the cartoon and the dialog definitely seem fresh. Arguably, Grizzlies are the most ferocious, but I’ve also heard that you don’t want to trifle with a polar bear. They’re getting crankier as their ice floes are disappearing! Can you blame them??? And actually, you don’t want to get between ANY mama bear and her cubs! They are all very defensive mothers.
We have seen every one of today’s clue words in previous Jumbles. However, all four of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me. I was able to see them immediately though. The answer letter layout was another thrilling thirteen letter jumble. Beautifully cryptic. Seeing as how the guys danced around the word BEAR, and how the ranger was emphatic in his warning, the final answer came to me right away.

You can say that again! Don’t feed the bears! You will never get rid of them. They seem to be growing in population here in New England over the last few years. Over building of the area seems to be the culprit. They don’t come to our property, it was their property to begin with. 🐻. Kind of like the Indians. (Oops. Native Americans). My bad. Damn you Chris Columbus! We are taking away your holiday AND statues too! People are CRAZY these days. 😝
