(Mais oui! The South of France, aka The French Riviera, is tres TRES chic. Certainment! With the cities Marseilles, Cannes, and of course Nice, just to name a few! Who wouldn’t enjoy a Mediterranean cruise? After the wife and I settle a few medical issues, I think we will book one!
Take a look-see is a great old expression that you don’t really hear much these days. I’m sure that it is lost on most Gen Z-ers. Coincidentally, we have a Chinese restaurant by us named Look See. It’s not our go-to place for Chinese, but it will do in a pinch. There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles appear to be new. Hoyt has definitely used “fonet” in at least one previous Jumble. No stumpers for me today. The answer letter layout was a tremendously cryptic twelve letter jumble. Nothing obvious about it at all.
Great cartoon of Jeff and Kathy, taking in the sights from their stately stateroom. It looks like they’re just departing from the city of Nice. Once they pass that pier they’ll be out at sea. There is a ship out on the horizon, but it does not appear to be sinking, and it’s not even a sailboat! I guess Jeff is trying to mix it up a little. Who knows? Maybe it would be bad luck to show a sinking sailboat while you’re on a cruise! Fun Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

There is something in the cartoon that looks like a boat, very close to the lady’s left cheek. You have to zoom-in the frame in order to see it.

I’ve never been on a cruise ship in my lifetime. Never had the opportunity or the desire to either. I love boats and the ocean though. And traveling as well. Another fun fact: I’ve never seen the movie The Titanic. I heard that it didn’t end well. I DID SEE The Poseidon Adventure though starring the great Ernest Borgnine and Shelley Winters. Shelley was a very pretty woman before gaining a massive amount of weight in her later years. What a colossal shame!
Speaking of colossal shames, the folks over there 👉 swam underwater 13 times y’day, seven of them by their lead actress Lansbury 🙋🏻♀️ I used to enjoy watching Murder………. She Wrote.

Absolutely, John. My guess is that it is another cruise ship that departed ahead of the one Jeff and Kathy are on. But it’s definitely not the classic sinking sailboat that Jeff likes to sneak into the bodies of water Jumbles. Thanks for the comment! — YUR
