Answer: “ROLE“ WITH THE PUNCHES
(A knockout of a cinematic pugilistic pun! And not the easiest final answer to come up with. When I first started reading the Mick line in the cartoon I wasn’t even sure if this was part of the movie. It wasn’t until the Rocky/Sylvester line that I got that it was the actors speaking.
All of today’s clue words have been used in other Jumbles. Five of the jumbles appear to be new though. Only the jumble “tennyi” has definitely been used in earlier Jumbles. None were all that difficult for me though. The answer letter layout was a fabulous fifteen letter jumble! I thought it was fiercely cryptic. Due to the phrasing of the clue/question, my first thoughts were HELP WITH . . . something. But just looking at SCNOUER told me that it couldn’t be so. And also the word HELP didn’t make any sense being in quotation marks. Taking away HELP helped me to see PUNCHES. The WITH never changed, and with the OERL the pun part really hit home. A little difficult, but I was never on the ropes, folks.

When Rocky said “cut”, I was thinking Cut me Mick!, not cut the filming. That threw me off. Along with the fake eye in his lap. It was a fake eye or makeup? Slice him open with a razor blade Mickey. Made sense in the movie. He couldn’t see with all of the swelling. A bloody mess ensued.
Speaking of bloody messes 🩸, the in-fighters over there lamented a cool 16 times y’day with Adrian tallying nine of them. 🙋♀️ Again over .500 which raises my spirits on this bright and cheery MLK Day!
YUR Bills almost gave it to the fish yesterday. They will need to clean it up if they want to beat Burrow’s Brash Bengals next week. 🐯 that should be a fun game to watch if you like TDS.
