Answer: “BUY“ COINCIDENCE
(Good thing they’re siblings, or else they’d have to scratch each others eyes out! Do women still get bent out of shape when they see another woman wearing the same dress that they’re wearing? That always made me shake my head. Now, I have to ask: Who is wearing it better? They’re not twins. The one with glasses would look to be the elder sister. I’d say it’s a tie!
Today was a rather rare day for the Jumble. Not only are all the clue words on the world famous ralis95 clue word database, but all four jumbles have been used before! But “canlyu” is a great jumble, as it made me try to make an UN word first. But after that brief misstep I was able to see my lunacy. I noticed that the word VIOLA is not on the ralis95 clue word database. I know the letters can also spell VOILA, but that’s a French word, that’s really only used when you want to sound French. I understand that English has adopted a slew of French words, but to me “voila” is kind of different. The answer letter layout was a formidable fourteen letter jumble. I thought it was substantially cryptic. The quotation marks in the final answer slots drew me immediately to BUY. Then, by serendipity . . . I saw COINCIDENCE!
Great cartoon of the cocktail party. The sisters will surely have something to talk about! Other people are mingling, except one wallflower, who is pretending she just got an important text. LOL! Fun Saturday Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
