Clue/Question: The outdoor restaurants in the capital of Italy were creating a pleasant – – –
Answer: “A–ROME–A“
(NO WAY this is a “stinky” pun! I can almost smell the basil, oregano and garlic! How is it that an entire country can produce such delicious food? Italy is one of the few European countries I have been fortunate enough to visit, and I swear that I never had a bad meal. I’ve had bad Italian food here, in the good old U.S. of A., plenty of times, but never when I was over there. And I don’t think that I was just lucky.
All of these clue words are already on the ralis95 clue word database. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “mohop” in earlier Jumbles. The answer letter layout was a slight six letter jumble. Decently cryptic, but with the hyphens, the quotation marks, and the clue/question, the final answer hit me like a savory bouquet!
Fun cartoon of a couple enjoying a night in Roma! I think I gained more weight on our one week trip to Italy than our ten day Caribbean cruise. I would love to go back. Great Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

I don’t feel like “oomph” is a real word but I found it in the Oxford English Dictionary, unfortunately 🙂
I like Italian food too Unc. I also like Italians. One of my favorite television series was “The Sopranos”. What a fantastic show about the Italian Mafia operating in and around New Jersey. Very realistic. When I lived in Providence I lived in the Federal Hill neighborhood. Restaurants were all controlled by the mob.
Over there where the grass is greener, Donna was 7, 7 and 8 after three consecutive days of 17. 🙋♀️ She’s still above Ted Williams’ .406 in 1941. If he could run like Mantle he’d hit .400 every year.
Everyone have a happy Friday the 13th!

I know what you mean, TW. There are certain words that puzzle/irk me a bit too. The English language seems to be very . . . forgiving, to say the least. — YUR
I miss the days when HBO had shows like “The Sopranos”, “The Wire” and “Deadwood”. They were all great shows, and most – enhanced – cable packages included HBO. Nowadays you have to have a “smart TV” and subscribe to streaming services. We do have one “smart TV” in the house, and services via my adult children, but I’m a very simple/spoiled kind of viewer. I just like to turn on the TV and watch. When I do stream something it’s usually when my daughter is home. — YUR
