Top 10 Best Restaurants near the Colosseum Rome to Not Miss

Answer:  AROMEA

(NO WAY this is a “stinky” pun!  I can almost smell the basil, oregano and garlic!  How is it that an entire country can produce such delicious food?  Italy is one of the few European countries I have been fortunate enough to visit, and I swear that I never had a bad meal.  I’ve had bad Italian food here, in the good old U.S. of A., plenty of times, but never when I was over there.  And I don’t think that I was just lucky.

All of these clue words are already on the ralis95 clue word database.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “mohop” in earlier Jumbles.  The answer letter layout was a slight six letter jumble.  Decently cryptic, but with the hyphens, the quotation marks, and the clue/question, the final answer hit me like a savory bouquet!

Fun cartoon of a couple enjoying a night in Roma!  I think I gained more weight on our one week trip to Italy than our ten day Caribbean cruise.  I would love to go back.  Great Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Reader: It's time to put party politics aside for good of nation

Answer:  PARTISAN SHIPS

(Looks to me like they’re both going in the SAME direction!  Some have made some pretty compelling arguments that both parties are – essentially – one and the same.  They are both owned by the lobbyists, aka the big corporations.  All of the various “social issues” – also known as “wedge issues” – are mainly for show, to appease and rally their bases.  Smoke and mirrors, so the voters can say:  I’m for Joe Blow, because he’s pro-life!  Or:  I’m for Josey Blosey, because she’s pro-choice!  The truth is everybody is for law and order . . . within reason.  And everybody is for a strong national defense . . . within reason.  And everybody is for lower taxes, rebuilding our infrastructure, and a cleaner environment . . . within reason.  It’s all a matter of degrees.  It’s hard to say that either side actually works for us – the John Q. Citizens – anymore.  Most of the politicians are in it for the power/money, and maintaining the status quo.  The ones who advocate for real change always get marginalized, by the party bosses, and by the corporate media.  With that being said, I side with the more inclusive party.

It appears that the world famous ralis95 clue word database will be getting a new entry, in “WISPY”.  It’s a five letter jumble/clue word, so it could NOT have appeared in a Sunday Jumble before they were monitored by ralis95.  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, however we have seen “pnilst” in at least one previous Jumble.  I was able to see the clue words very quickly.  The answer letter layout was a tremendous thirteen letter jumble.  The word SHIPS came to me right away.  And the remaining letters led me to PARTISAN.

Great cartoon of the two parties’ yachts.  You can clearly make out the donkey on one, and the elephant on the other.  Maybe, the guy in the smaller boat in the middle is supposed to represent the Independents.  But the best part of the cartoon is the classic sinking sailboat on the horizon!  A welcome sight for voters of both parties!  And even of those with no party affiliation, and non-voters too.  Fun Jumble pun.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
