(If you fly coach, now better known as “economy”, you’re going to be uncomfortable no matter if you’re in the window, middle, or aisle seat! Because all the airlines are blood-sucking leeches, who cram too many rows of too narrow seats, in planes that were designed to carry fewer passengers. Then, to top things off, they do all that they can to overbook each flight, to maximize their bottom line, at the expense of their cattle . . . er passengers. And, they do this . . . because we let them.
All classic clue words today. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new for me, however we’ve definitely seen “cattr” in at least one previous Jumble. None of them stumped me though. The answer letter layout was a slight seven letter jumble. Nicely cryptic though. But whenever there is a “P” and a “U” in it you just know that part of the answer is going to be UP. And, with GTTHI you know the only possible word can be TIGHT. Great compound word!

Thoughts and prayers 🙏 for Bills football player Damar Hamlin, who died playing the game he loved. Very sad story. Not sure when they are going to resume the game now. I feel for his family. Looks like he had an undiagnosed heart condition. Family decided to remove him from life support. 😭
Six of 14 for our head flight attendant y’day 🙋♀️ (.429 average). Right at the 60 day mean for her. Airlines truly pack ‘‘em in there days, although they are very safe to fly due to great pilots ✈️. Stay safe out there!
I remember as a young Smitty, smoking was allowed on flights. There was a smoking section and ash trays on the arm rests. Good thing the smoke always stayed in the smoking section of these enclosed metal tubes. I used to burn through half a pack on a short flight 🚬

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, Smitty. But please stay away from the misinformation! Damar required CPR on the field, so technically – with his heart arresting – one could argue that he was – for a time – clinically “dead”, but they DID restore his heartbeat – on the field – and they were able to get him to a good trauma center hospital, where he remains in their ICU. His family did NOT remove him from life support. Many of his vitals have been restored, but he has been placed in a medically induced coma, to allow his body to heal. Clearly, he is not out of the woods yet. He could still possibly die. But he is alive at this moment.

Ok yes I do see now that he did survive! That’s great news! Pray forDamar that he makes a complete recovery! 🙏. I had heard that he died but that was erroneous information. Glad it was so.
