(Sorry, to any San Francisco Giants fans out there.  But you know what they always say:  You snooze, you lose!  You had the tentative agreement to sign Correa for $350M, for 13 years, but you dragged your feet.  So, the New York Metropolitans swooped in to snag him at $315M for 12 years.  It was a totally unexpected move, and it raises some questions for some current players, but I’m inclined to look at this as a win for the Mets.  I guess only time will tell.

All of today’s clue words are on the ralis95 clue word database.  Three of the jumbles do appear to be new, however we have definitely seen “luybk” in a previous Jumble.  There was no hesitation this morning, on my part, in getting any of them.  The answer letter layout was a fortified fourteen letter jumble.  Admirably cryptic.  The layout of the final answer slots were the big clue for me.
