Clue/Question: They are very similar in size, but the planets Venus and Earth are – – –

Answer: WORLDS APART
(Earth is temperate. Mars is cold. Venus is hot. And, Mercury might as well be the friggin’ Sun. Jupiter, Saturn . . . and the rest – a la the original “Gilligan’s Island” theme song – must be insanely cold, as they are even further away from the Sun than Mars! In a hundred million years, or so, will Venus be cool enough to be inhabitable? Possibly. They are still considering whether there may have been life on Mars, at some point in the past. So, who knows?! We’re all just a relative blink of the eye, when it come to the age of our tiny little galaxy . . . let alone the friggin’ universe.
All of today’s clue words are on the ralis95 clue word database! Three of the jumbles did come up as new, for me. However, we’ve definitely seen “poruto” some time in the past. The answer letter layout was an excellent eleven letter jumble. Wonderfully cryptic. But the biggest synonym for the word “planet” is the word “world”, so the clue/question led me quickly to the final answer.
Great high school, or college, Astronomy class cartoon. I don’t know/understand why Venus spins so slowly. There must be a logical explanation for it. Does anyone out there know what it is??? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
