(Wait!  I thought that Soccer was the cure for insomnia.  JKLOL!  That’s my Bucky B. Katt influence speaking.  I’m a big fan of “Get Fuzzy”, by Darby Conley, and Bucky had a recent prolonged rip on “the world’s favorite sport”.  Don’t know what I’m talking about?  Too bad.  I’m amusing myself.  And, that’s all that matters!  More Bucky influence.

All six clue words are longtime members of the ralis95 clue word database.  Nice seeing “hobnob” again!  Five of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “gdeaan” in past Jumbles.  No stumpers for me today.  The answer letter layout was a fairly intimidating sixteen letter jumble.  Expertly cryptic.  It took me two or three looks before coming up with the final answer.
