Pre-Answer: Four Words (3-letters) (4-letters) (3-letters) (4-letters)
Answer: FOR FOUR FOR FOUR
(An unsatisfying Sunday Jumble solve! Decent length, but just too obvious. You probably couldn’t possibly come up with four other words using these answer letters. But we’ll give the overall Jumble a rating of “Cute”, because of the kids!
Plus, it looks like David L. Hoyt has found us a new clue word, in SPIFFY! Unless it came on a different Sunday, with a different jumble, some time ago. Five of the jumbles do appear to be new, with “voroyg” having been used some time ago. Was it just a coincidence that the answer letter layout was a four-teen letter jumble?
Fun cartoon of the kids’ soccer team. No doubt one of the dads is the coach. When you’re a kid, wins and championships are nice, but what could be better than ice cream??? The treat you never outgrow! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
