Clue/Question: Jack Nicholson had some great roles. His acting in Kubrick’s 1980 film is a – – –

Answer: SHINING EXAMPLE
(What a creepy movie! The Stephen King story is fictional, but it is based on actual “hauntings” at Colorado’s Stanley Hotel, in Estes Park, CO. A place that yer Uncle Rave has actually seen! They didn’t use the Stanley Hotel for the Overlook Hotel, in the Kubrick film, but they did use it in the television mini-series of 1997. Kubrick used the Timberline Lodge, in Mount Hood, OR. This was one of a number of things that upset Mr. King about Kubrick’s adaptation, which is probably why “The Shining” was remade as a television mini-series.
The clue words have all been on the ralis95 clue word database for a while. Three of the jumbles did come up as new, for me. However, we have seen “laxhee” in the past. All were very quick solves. The answer letter layout was a fantastic fourteen letter jumble. The EX helped me see EXAMPLE. And, If you didn’t know the name of the movie I suppose this could have been a difficult solve.
Great drawing of Jack’s most iconic scene from this great movie. The twin little girl ghosts were also pretty spooky, as was young Danny Torrance’s creepy shouting of “REDRUM, REDRUM, REDRUM!” The only thing I didn’t like in the movie was when Scatman Crothers dies. Great Jumble, guys! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
