(And, that’s about the cost of producing a single penny these days. Even though they only contain a trace amount of copper the Treasury Department can’t make them for what they’re worth. There has been some serious talk about discontinuing the penny for this very reason. Pennies were the first, and pretty much the only, coin I’ve ever seriously collected. I collected the state quarters too, but it’s not really the same. I have the entire set, plus multiple duplicates. I would’ve liked to have collected the national parks series too, but they did a very halfhearted job of promoting them, which has been very surprising to me. I do have a number of them, but no album/folders. I’m sure they’re available online.
No new clue words again today. However, all of today’s jumbles are coming up as new, for me. I had some difficulty unraveling “tiuros”. Fortunately, the final answer was very obvious, so I was able to back into “suitor”, after a few additional looks at ORTS. But the answer letter layout was a terrific thirteen letter jumble, despite the clearly recognizable final answer.
