Jumble Solved – 07/23/22

(A fun silly Jumble pun.  But that’s what the weekends were made for.  Possibly a little – politically correct – patronizing, but that is kind of where we are in society these days.  Someone complained to Jeff some months back, and it looks like he has made it a crusade to push the issue, which – of course – is his prerogative.  I am 100% on his side, but it does get a little tedious even for me.

Not surprisingly, there were no new clue words today.  Although, it does appear that all of today’s jumbles are new.  Regardless, I saw all the clue words instantly.  The answer letter layout was an elegant eleven letter jumble, but the word BIG kind of stood out to me, which made getting the final answer a slam.

Fine cartoon of the victorious women’s tennis celebration meal.  And, what a meal it is!  A big burger, an entire chicken, some round things on a plate . . . maybe meatballs.  The details on my printout version is pretty lame.  The winner’s trophy is on the floor, next to her tennis racquet.  They need the room on the table for all that food!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
