Answer: “INN–COMMUNICADO“
(A fantastically – stinky – Friday Jumble pun! And, one of the longer final answers for a non-Sunday Jumble. It looks like they’re staying at The Grizzly Adams’ B&B. And, maybe they’re going to have to catch their breakfast themselves! They better hope that they don’t become a bear’s breakfast!
All familiar old clue words today. Although, it has been quite a while since Hoyt has used “midst”. Two of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me. But we’ve definitely seen both “innoo” and “campit” in previous Jumbles. I think Hoyt inn-advertantly broke one of his own rules! One of his jumbles is part of the final answer! Oh, well. A fabulous fourteen letter answer letter layout jumble. But I think with the quotation marks, and all the repeating letters, this became a pretty quick solve.
Great cartoon of the rustic hostelry. It looks like the mountain man is so back to basics that he uses a quill pen and an ink-well. I would not expect much in the way of amenities. Their wake-up call is probably a rooster. But at least no one should be bothering them. Fun Friday Jumble! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
