Clue/Question: The big bad wolf couldn’t blow down the pig’s house made of bricks, so he – – –
Answer: LEFT IN A HUFF
(Somebody send an urgent text alert to Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother! Does the wolf actually eat the old lady, or does he just tie her up, so he can lure in the much tenderer Little Red? It seems like the story just kind of jumps to the wolf being in Granny’s nightclothes and bed. Has anybody read the story to a child lately? It’s probably been about 25 years for me.
All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends. Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me. But we’ve definitely seen “nuhdo” before. They all came to me instantly. The answer letter layout was an elegant eleven letter jumble. It did a fine job of disguising the final answer.
Great cartoon of the famous fairy tale, The Three Little Pigs! Cute little house of bricks. It looks like there is a demolished house of sticks, and one of straw, off in the distance. I like the Welcome mat, and what looks like it might be a knocked over garden gnome. I never knew one of the pigs was a female! I guess this is the semi-politically correct version of the story. The wolf looks like he’s straight out of a Disney, or Fleischer Studios cartoon. I’ve still got a bunch of old cartoons on VHS around here. Maybe I should try to sell them. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
