Jumble Solved – 07/13/22

Clue/Question:  Using a lighter instead of matches was a more – – –

Answer:  SUREFIRE WAY

(Stinky pun?  Possibly, but not because of sulfur!  I wouldn’t be surprised if a situation like this was the basis for the compound word:  surefire.  Regardless, it made for a good Jumble pun.

All of today’s clue words are on the latest version of the ralis95 world famous clue word database.  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, for me.  But we’ve definitely seen “suwein” in at least one previous Jumble.  The answer letter layout was an enlightened eleven letter jumble.  Nothing obvious.  The phrasing of the clue/question told me that the three letter word was likely WAY, and from deciding on that I saw the complete final answer.
