Visual Description: Sick seat sewer.
PEOEL = ELOPE, URHYR = HURRY, REDVOO = OVERDO, SOFCIA = FIASCO — Giving us: EOEHRRVRFCO
Clue/Question: The upholsterer worked alone, so when she got sick, there was no one to – – –
Answer: COVER FOR HER
(Now, this is a super classic Jumble pun! Not a lot of upholsterers out there anymore. A lot of people would rather throw out worn or damaged furniture, than repair it. But for family heirlooms, and antiques, you don’t want to just throw them away. You got to repair them.
No new clue words today. It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen “overdo” used though. But it looks like every one of the jumbles are new. None of them stumped me. The answer letter layout was an elite eleven letter jumble. Nicely cryptic.
Fine cartoon of the ailing cushion bolsterer. Lots of great fabric, and some scissors, and her trusty sewing machine. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
