“We have to believe in free will. We have no choice.“ — Isaac Bashevis Singer
(A little tongue-in-cheek?! But perhaps he was also expressing the notion that “free will” has been a little oversold. It helps us to think that we always have the ability to make our own choices, but . . . most of us are easily indoctrinated, and the art of marketing is both pervasive and persuasive. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Unc,
I’m surprised I haven’t seen “pervasive” and “persuasive” side-by-side in a puzzle.
Not sure where you’re trying to go with this, lwc. A nine letter and ten letter word could not be a clue word in the Jumble. If you have some contention with my comment it might be easier – for all of us – if you just state it plainly. — YUR
“pervasive” and “persuasive”
I like the way the words look and sound !
So do I, lwc! I think they go together well. Especially in the context of my post. — YUR
