Jumble Solved – 05/10/22

Visual Description:  Sibling rivalry.

Clue/Question:  She offered to help her younger brother clean up his room to – – – 

Answer:  MESS WITH HIM

(Well, I certainly hope that the big sister received some kind of punishment for her infraction.  A deal’s a deal, and it looks like she’s not willing to hold up her end of the bargain.  But of course, he shouldn’t get in the habit of blackmail anyway.  Secrets and lies – even ones of omission –  are not conducive to a happy family life.

All of today’s clue words are on the ralis95 clue word database.  Three of the jumbles do appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “shikw” sometime in the past.  The answer letter layout was an elusive eleven letter jumble.  Beautifully cryptic.  The final answer did not jump out at me, especially with only three vowels.  But I started with HIM and worked backwards to get the pun.
