(Aahhh!  That’s the ticket!  May you always have love in your heart and beer in your belly!  They play a lot of darts in the United Kingdom.  And, they drink a lot of beer and ale.  In the late ’70s and early ’80s English beers were pretty popular.  I frequently drank a beer named Whitbread, but I think it might have gone out of business, or sold off to some conglomerate.  Occasionally, I’ll see someone selling Samuel Smith’s, Fuller’s, Newcastle, or Boddingtons, but it’s kind of rare these days.

We’ve seen all of these clue words before.  Two of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “dhined” and “prisla” before.  I saw them all immediately.  The answer letter layout was a slight seven letter jumble.  The final answer came very quickly.

These characters seem very specific.  They look a little older too.  Not sure what occasion, or who Jeff had in mind here.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

You really should watch Ted Lasso. It’s one of the best things to hit television for the last several years.

Have you done a Ted Lasso themed Jumble before, Jeff??? I’ve heard the show’s great. Some of my buddies watch it, but the missus and I just aren’t big into “streaming”. Besides the two main characters in your cartoon were there any other clues I should’ve picked up on? You are aware that a lot of the people who do the Jumble are older, right?

I’m pretty sure the two dart players are the Castro brothers, though why they’re pictured here is beyond me

LOL! That was my first impression too, TW. But, that really didn’t make much sense to me. Jeff wrote in that it’s two of the main characters from the Apple TV show “Ted Lasso”. Jeff loves it, and some of my buddies rave about it, but I don’t – currently – have Apple TV +, and my wife and I are just not big streamers. — YUR

When you write, “Castro brothers”, are you referring to Fidel and Raul, or the Texas politicians, Julián and Joaquin Castro.

I wasn’t the one who wrote that, lwc. I just agreed with the guy who wrote it. BUT I was thinking – and I’m pretty sure the other guy meant – Fidel and Raul. I always thought the Texas brothers were younger and clean shaven! — YUR
