(Of course! That kind of human flight was unprecedented up to that point. When you rode in a hot-air balloon, back then, you we’re more just floating, and you didn’t really have that much control over where you we’re going. This was the beginning of actual controlled flight. Very cool.
Yeah, we’ve seen all these clue words before. But all of these jumbles are coming up as new, for me! None were all that tough to decipher. The answer letter layout was a thoughtful ten letter jumble. Fairly cryptic.
Great historic cartoon of the famous brothers – Wilbur and Orville – and their Kitty Hawk Flyer! It’s also a good depiction of the dunes at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
