(Ideally?  Sure.  But not everyone has that luxury.  Too many of us just pursue a career that pleases our parents.  Or, we kind of fall into a “job” that pays the bills, and our families rely on us to bring home a paycheck.  But definitely our leisure time is our own, and we have to take enjoyment as we see fit.  Carol doesn’t understand it, but I actually like mowing the lawn!  I enjoy the sense of accomplishment, and the physicality of the work kind of grounds me.  It’s the same with shoveling snow . . . within reason.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Jumble Spoiler – 03/26/22

Clue/Question:  The monkeys attending the social gathering in the jungle were – – –

Answer:  PARTY ANIMALS

(Monkeys are the jesters of the the jungle!  They are fast and agile, and intelligent.  So, yeah.  They’re going to mess around, when they can.  This is one reason why you have to be careful when you go to watch them at the zoo.  They think it’s friggin’ hilarious to fling their pooh at you!  That’s right.  Someone is standing there, pointing at them and laughing . . . then SPLAT!  Who’s laughing now, sucker???

Back to no new clue words today.  However, all of the jumbles did come up as new for me.  I think “narpec” could have caused some of you to look for a two syllable word.  The clue words may not have been new, but I don’t think most of them have been used recently.  The answer letter layout was a twisty twelve letter jumble.  I might have switched the order of the clue words a bit.  But the cartoon set this one up for a quick solve.

Gotta love the African wildlife cartoon.  Unmistakable monkeys swinging overhead, a very stodgy King of the jungle, a surprisingly stuffy warthog, a poor beset upon giraffe, and what looks to be an ironically un-amused hyena!  These monkeys better not overindulge too much, or they might wind up having a hangover.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
