Answer:  BETTER THAN NOTHING

(Hey!  Whadayawant fer nuthin’?!!!  This Jumble punswer is putting me in mind of the incomparable Billy Preston!  Before most of us knew him as a brilliant solo performer, he was a much sought after session keyboardist during the 1960s.  He reinvigorated The Beatles during their “Get Back”/”Let It Be” days, back in 1969.  And, he was one of the few referred to as the “Fifth Beatle”.  “Get Back” is even credited as “The Beatles with Billy Preston”, the only one of the Beatles songs to credit NOT just one of the Fab Four.  And, he recorded a beautiful duet, with a sweet voiced girl named Syreeta, that just might be the most romantic song of all time!

All of this day’s clue words were familiar old friends.  However, four of the jumbles did come up as new, for me.  The two that we’ve definitely seen are “gdeaan” and “turagi”.  None of the jumbles stumped me any.  The answer letter layout was a stupendous seventeen letter jumble!  I thought it was masterfully cryptic.  But the final answer came to me almost immediately.

A workmanlike cartoon of a couple of numbers on some kind of cosmic plane.  Not a whole lot you can do with numbers in cartoons, folks!  They’re just kinda Meh!  The only people who might get a little excited by them are computer programmers.  Repeating all the various sequences of zeroes and ones would drive me batty!  But to each their own.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

It reminds me of an old joke from Intro to Philosophy, a faulty syllogism: A ham sandwich is better than nothing; nothing is better than eternal happiness; ergo, a ham sandwich is better than eternal happiness!

LOL! I think I’ve heard this one, many years ago. I love it! Thanks, hal. — YUR
