“What happens is not as important as how you react to what happens.” — Thaddeus Golas
(Overreactions are rarely helpful. A measured reaction is usually best. Sometimes no reaction at all is warranted. This appears to be Mr. Golas’ first quote at the Cryptoquote, at least since I’ve been posting these spoilers. So, we welcome Thaddeus Golas to the Cryptoquote Club today. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Clue/Question: Getting medical advice from the internet can sometimes be – – –
Answer: ILL–ADVISED
(If you be illin, don’t be chillin like a villain, drillin for a fillin on the interwebs. Don’t settle for a crock, or some poor schlock, call up your doc! Don’t wait untilin, or stand around millin and/or stillin. And, the good Lord willin, you won’t be killin your damn self . . . fool. Self treating yourself, based on something you read online CAN be fairly dangerous. Don’t be drinking bleach, or some kind of disinfectant, because some guy with orange skin and a funky comb-over said something out loud, when he probably shouldn’t even have been thinking it. And, if you don’t have parasites inside of you please don’t take Ivermectin!
Even without checking the ralis95 clue word database I could’ve told you that there were no new clue words today. But I checked anyway. The second two jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely had “doydl” and “fatsf” in previous Jumbles. It took me a few looks to see “pelvis”, so good a jumble there. The answer letter layout was a tense ten letter jumble. For a couple of seconds, I toyed around with it starting with DIS. But then I saw ILL, and I got the pun!
Fine cartoon of an older couple. The hubby is experiencing some kind of symptoms, and thinks he can diagnose things himself. Good thing that he has a better half! Very often I’ll check WebMD, just to get an idea of what might be up. But I generally follow up with a doctor, and don’t rely on sketchy treatments from flaky sources. Use yer noodles, poodles! LOL!
