esther's poems - First Edition - AbeBooks

Give me one friend, just one, who meets the needs of all my varying moods.”   —   Esther M. Clark

(From what I can see, Esther was the poet who wrote “The Call of Kansas”.  I know bupkis about poetry, so I couldn’t tell you if she’s widely known, or a regional poet from the early 20th Century.  This appears to be the first of her quotes to be used at the Cryptoquote, so we welcome Esther to the Ctyptoquote Club today!  Be well and do good, friends.  Happy Valentine’s Day!)   —   YUR

Happy birthday to Kevin Baldes of Lit!  (Great song, fun video!)
