(Newer than this pun at least! Just kidding. But I do believe we’ve had this Jumble answer before. Maybe with another famous novel. I’ve been posting these spoilers for so long now they’re all beginning to sound the same to me. Maybe it’s time for me to hand over the blogging reins to somebody younger, and less jaded. Someone who can post these puzzle answers early, like I used to. But I must’ve done something right over the years, as I’ve inspired a couple of copy cats.
All classic clue words today! Three of the jumbles are coming up as new for me, but we’ve definitely seen “galee” in previous Jumbles. The answer letter layout was a nifty nine letter jumble. Too bad it’s not Adele’s birthday! But rest assured, I will be giving you a birthday video today. All of the cartoon’s dialog made for a great hint.
Great period piece cartoon. It’s hard to believe that “Frankenstein; or The Modern Prometheus” was written in 1818! Some consider it a Gothic novel, while others argue it was the first science-fiction novel. Mary Shelley certainly inspired a lot of writers to create more science-fiction and horror stories. Yea, that was that was Ricky Nelson singing “Hello Mary Lou”…I through the Everly Brothers in the mix for their “bomb” hair for back in the day??¿…as for Dion Dimucci & the Belmonts;

While neither a Brain Surgeon, nor a Rocket Scientist, I was intrigued by your comment above, Ken! So, I looked up dem glial thangs you mentioned, and I slipped into the ever comfortable Wikipedia article. I’m well aware that Wikipedia isn’t fool-proof, and may contain errors, but I’ve always enjoyed its simplicity in displaying their facts/info. According to them, scientists have updated the ratio of glia to neurons from 10:1 to around 1:1. This surprised me a little. They didn’t cite any specifics, just “recent studies”. Since MENSA just laughs at me, maybe you look into these developments further.
I hope you informed Susy Q about the “stiff breeze” theory!
