Clue/Question: He thought he could pick up the heavy box by himself but was – – –
Answer: SORELY MISTAKEN
(Having had a sore back my entire adult life, I can definitely relate. When it’s behaving itself you feel like you can take on the world. But when it goes out you become as weak as a kitten. The regular – muscular – back pain is bearable, but if the disc slips and you start feeling sciatica . . . it’s like you become a cripple! Walking hurts, sitting hurts, and even lying down hurts. It’s the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. My Mom’s cousin – who also suffered from sciatica – said it was different, but worse, than childbirth. And, she only had the one kid. I’ll never be able to compare the two, so I’ll take her word for it.
All of today’s clue words have been used in previous Jumbles. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen “solone” before. I was able to get all of the clue words immediately. The answer letter layout was a truly fantastic fourteen letter jumble. Fabulously cryptic. It was the great cartoon, and the clue/question that made this an instantaneous solve for me.
From the guy’s sweater, I’m guessing this is a semi-holiday themed cartoon. Christmas decorations usually aren’t all that heavy, but who knows for sure what is in that box he was trying to carry. He should always bend his knees, and lift with his legs! It looks like they’re in some kind of storage facility. She might need to use the dolly to get him out of there. Good Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Happy birthday to DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit! (Little know *fact*, Jeff Knurek was going to be the front-man for Limp Bizket . . . until Kathy Kent-Knurek put the Kibosh on that Klutzy scheme! LOL!)
