Answer: “PREP–ORATION“
(Public speaking can be somewhat like acting. You definitely need to know your lines. You need to pace yourself. And, you have to allow for your audience’s reactions, good or bad. So, rehearsing your speech is very important. The more you have it down pat, the more comfortable you should be in giving it.
We have seen all of these clue words before. However, all of today’s jumbles are coming up as new, for me. I must’ve been hungry when I did this, because I first thought of ARROZ when I saw the first jumble. But I saw all the clue words pretty quickly. The answer letter layout was an excellent eleven letter jumble. I kind of saw PREP right away, but didn’t see ORATION until I wrote out ARONTOI. I had thought preparation, but wasn’t getting the pun right away. Duh!
Fine cartoon of three women on a stage. It’s hard to tell if this is a business speech, or a political one. If it’s political maybe this is Stacey Abrams. I can’t imagine them being republicans. But who knows? Good Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
