Pre-Answer: Three Words (9-letters) (3-letters) (4-letters)
Answer: SPREADING THE WORD
(And, it looks like RAVE is the word! Gotta love it! I’ve only had the opportunity to play Scrabble a very few times. But the times I was able to play it I definitely enjoyed the game. I can’t really say I was all that good, but I think I wasn’t the big loser at least. Good game.
All of today’s clue words are tried and true. Four of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely seen both “tutelo” and “mtrwha” in previous Jumbles. I didn’t struggle to get any of them though. The answer letter layout was a spectacular sixteen letter jumble. I thought it did a splendid job of disguising the final answer.
Great cartoon of folks playing Scrabble, on a card table. The lady with her back to us looks like she’s getting ready to spell JUMBLES . . . if she can build off something that’s currently on the board. A pretty challenging Jumble, folks! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Scrabble! Used to play with mama and my sister. I did not like it at all–they always beat me, badly, and were not nice about it. Yet, somehow, they always managed to cajole me into playing a game with them. Mama was an avid crossword puzzler, and knew all kinds of strange words that she’d use. I finally let myself off the hook and would go outside when they’d bring out the game!! LL
Aah! This must have been before you got your Franklin Wordmaster, LindaLee! — YUR
Unc, that is too funny!!!! My handy-dandy Franklin only helps if you are checking the spelling on a word–it lets you know if it is correct or incorrect. it does not, unfortunately, unjumble a word. Those scrabble games were far too stressful for me! 🙂
LOL! But I bet you’d be better at Scrabble now because of using it! — YUR
Actually, your comment made me think….unscrambling sooooo many, thousands maybe!, jumbled words would help me to see words in my scrabble letters!! Mmmmmm, maybe I’ll try a game of scrabble with the husb.
