Answer:  FOR THE BIRDS

(Yeah!  I feel his pain.  Fighting over scraps of food left by humans can really wear one out.  Especially when there are dozens and dozens of you.  You know, people have long complained about the so-called “rat race”, but in a lot of ways commuting and working can be more like a seagull scrum!  Lots of jostling and screeching at one another, and occasionally someone gets hurt.  I guess it’s true what they say:  It’s a gull fight for french fry world!

All of today’s clue words have been frequently picked over.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, but we’ve definitely gotten down and “ryidt” before.  I’m certain that Ken could make up a brilliant short story with today’s clue words!  The answer letter layout was a great eight letter jumble.  But the final answer was a bird-brainer!
