“The school is not the end but only the beginning of an education.” — Calvin Coolidge
(“Silent Cal” was born on the 4th of July, way back in 1872! He was Warren G. Harding’s Vice President, and succeeded him in August of 1923, after Harding’s fatal heart attack in San Francisco. Cal was visiting his family home in Vermont at the time, and took the oath of office by kerosene lamp in the family’s parlor, becoming the 30th President. He was generally considered fairly ineffective, and many believe his economic policies led to the 1929 stock market crash, which kicked off the Great Depression. But apparently, he was an advocate of racial equality! So, I guess he wasn’t all bad. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Happy birthday to C.J. Chenier, a Zydeco master!
A rather long sentence from Silent Cal, but still very condensed!
