Bryson DeChambeau brings his long game to the Masters - Los Angeles Times

Answer:  MOOD SWINGS

(I don’t know for a fact, but I’d guess that a good number of heart attacks take place on golf courses!  The game/sport is one frustration after another.  Especially, for the average duffers.  Slicing it, hooking it, topping it, skying it, landing in the deep rough, landing in a sand bunker, landing out of bounds, landing in a pond or creek . . . or the ocean!  Even the pros can only control just so much.  Golf has been described as a good walk spoiled.  But the best explanation of golf I ever heard came from Robin Williams!  Look it up, and give it a watch.  It will crack you up!

All of today’s clue words have played through before.  However, all of the jumbles appear to be fresh out of the box.  All pretty straight forward.  No doglegs.  The answer letter layout was a thoughtful ten letter jumble.  I thought it was amply cryptic.  I guess I just picked up on the word “erratic”, because I saw the final answer quickly.

Fun cartoon of what looks like our guys on the golf course.  If it is, it looks like Jeff is the calm one and David is the hot-head.  Calm down, cuz!  I bet Bryson DeChambeau sucks at word puzzles!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Cryptoquote Spoiler – 09/25/21

Famous Alfred A Montapert Quotes 403 - YouTube

Be a good listener; listen eighty-five percent of the time.  Develop the art of listening.”   —   A. A. Montapert

(A successful 20th? Century author/philosopher, who lived for about 91 years?  The few photos of him appear to be 19th Century!  But no one has seen fit to put out a biography on the man.  Alfred Armand Montapert sounds like he has French ancestry, likely from France, but that’s just a guess.  This appears to be the first of his many quotes to make it to the Cryptoquote.  So, we welcome Monsieur Montapert to the Cryptoquote Club today!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
